Welcome to Urdu Academy Delhi

Urdu Academy, Delhi is an Academy of Letters, established by the Government of NCT of Delhi in 1981 for preservation and promotion of Urdu language and literature as an integral part of the linguistic culture of Delhi. The Academy works to preserve and promote Urdu literature and lingual culture through publications, awards and grants, literary and cultural events, and seminars, symposia and lectures. The Academy also organizes short term courses in Urdu language and calligraphy and competitions and camps for students.
